Terms of sale

Original artworks

Every original is one of a kind: there is only one, and once it’s sold it’s gone. I photograph each piece carefully in daylight, but screens differ, so colours may look slightly different in person. If you’re unsure, ask me for more photos or a video before you buy.

Prices are in Indian rupees (₹). Shipping is charged separately, at the actual courier cost, and I’ll confirm it with you in chat before you pay. A piece is yours once payment is received; until then, it may still be available to others.

Copyright stays with me

When you buy an original, you own the physical artwork: you can hang it, enjoy it, gift it or sell it on. Buying the artwork does not include the copyright. That stays with me, which means the artwork can’t be reproduced as prints, merchandise, logos or anything else without my written permission.

You’re very welcome to share photos of your artwork on social media for personal use. A mention of @klean_slate_ is always appreciated. I may also share photos of work I’ve made, including commissions, in my portfolio and on Instagram. If you’d rather keep a commission private, just tell me.

Commissions

• After you tell me what you’d like, I send a quote with the price, size, medium, any framing, shipping at the actual courier cost, and an estimated delivery date.
• A deposit of 50% of the artwork price, plus the full cost of any framing, books your slot. I start work once it arrives.
• I send a sketch first. You can ask for changes in up to 2 rounds of revisions at the sketch stage. After that, small tweaks are fine; bigger changes are charged extra, and I’ll always tell you the cost first. I’ll keep sending progress photos along the way.
• The rest of the artwork price (50%) and the shipping cost are due when the piece is finished, before it’s shipped or collected.
• Please only send reference photos you have the right to use (your own, or ones you have permission for).
• Timelines are estimates. If anything delays your piece, I’ll tell you as early as I can.
